In 2010, the District of Columbia was the highest-paying area for copy repair men, where they earned an average of $22.06 per hour or $45,880 per year. The next four areas were Minnesota, where the average salary was $21.71, Connecticut at $21.46, Massachusetts at $21.37, and New Jersey at $21.34.
It is also expected that employment for office repair men will increase by 7% between 2010 and 2020, about half the projected growth rate for all occupations. Employment prospects should be best for candidates who have achieved certification through an official organization such as the Electronics Technicians Association International.
